Finding Your Ikigai…
At NCHP, we believe training as a therapist is about more than acquiring skills; it’s often about discovering your Ikigai (生き甲斐), your “reason for being.”
For many people, work is what they’re good at, what the world needs, and what they’re paid for, but it’s not what they love. That missing piece is why so many of our students choose therapy: to do meaningful work that connects with who they really are.
Our approach is designed to help you make that transition with confidence, creativity, and a sense of purpose.
Making the Change Possible
Changing careers doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing decision. Many of us began studying alongside our existing jobs, gradually building a practice until it became a full-time endeavour.
Our pathways are designed the same way: structured, flexible, and staged.
Within 13 months on the hypnotherapy diploma pathway or 14 months on the psychotherapy or psychotherapeutic counsellor pathway, you can begin practising as a hypnotherapist and generating income while continuing to UKCP accreditation if you choose.
