Supporting people has always been something I’ve naturally been drawn to. I’ve always been curious about people, our experiences, what shapes us and why we can experience the same world in completely different ways. Because of this, I chose to build my experience across different areas of mental health and social care and work with people from all walks of life.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and am a qualified hypnotherapist. I'm also continuing my training in hypno-psychotherapy as a Student Psychotherapist with UKCP.
Since 2018, I have worked across psychiatric intensive care, crisis support, community services, supported living and substance use services. During this time, I have worked with children, young people and adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological needs, including people who are neurodivergent.
Having such varied experience has taught me that there is always more to someone than the difficulty they are experiencing. Who we are is shaped by so many things, including our relationships, experiences, environment and the ways we have learned to understand ourselves and the world around us.
That is also what drew me to hypnotherapy. I believe understanding ourselves can sometimes mean going beyond what the mind already knows, giving ourselves the space to notice patterns, feelings and experiences that may not always be obvious or easy to put into words.
My approach is warm, curious and collaborative. You don’t need to come to therapy knowing exactly what you want to change or how to explain what you are feeling. We can start with where you are and work from there.
I use therapy alongside hypnosis where it feels appropriate for you. There is no one size fits all approach. Our work will be shaped around you, what you bring to therapy and what you would like to explore.
Therapy can be an opportunity to understand yourself more deeply, recognise what you already carry within you and explore what feels right for you, at your own pace.
I currently offer therapy to adults aged 18 and over. If you are thinking about receiving support, we can have an initial conversation about what has brought you here and whether I might be the right person to support you.
