The National Society of Talking Therapies (NSTT) is the membership organisation of the NCHP, providing your gateway to CNHC and NCH registration, as well as UKCP accreditation and re-accreditation.
Our members are more than names on a register; they are our community, comprising NCHP students and practising Hypnotherapists, Psychotherapeutic Counsellors, and Psychotherapists. NSTT is dedicated to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

Join Us
Student membership is free and automatic for all students of The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy up until completion of:
- The Diploma in Hypnotherapy or;
- The Certificate in Hypno-Psychotherapy or Hypno-Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Stage 2 of the UKCP Pathway).
Join Us
- This level is open to those qualifying with the NCHP in either the Diploma in Hypnotherapy or the Certificate in Hypno-Psychotherapy.
- Associate membership provides access to the NSTT register.
The Cost of NSTT Membership
- Membership is £48 per year. This can be paid monthly or annually, and we strive to keep this cost as low as possible and equal for all.

- Fellowship is available upon graduation from the NCHP UKCP pathway.
- All members must comply with the NSTT code of ethics and membership and renewal policies.
- NSTT offers a re-accreditation assistance service for members registered with UKCP, which is included in the membership fee.

CNHC Registration
The Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
All CNHC-registered practitioners are entitled to use CNHC’s quality mark, which demonstrates a commitment to professionalism and high standards. The public and those who commission the services of complementary healthcare practitioners can choose with confidence by looking for the CNHC quality mark. General Medical Council (GMC) guidance confirms that doctors can refer patients to practitioners on accredited registers.
The CNHC has declared that the National Society of Talking Therapies may verify applications for CNHC registration, and we encourage Associate Members to join to gain the CNHC quality mark.
