Stuart Cale (he/him)

Stuart is a Director of NCHP journey as a student, progressing to graduate member, supervisor, tutor, Vice-Principal, and ultimately taking over in the College in 2020, during a time of significant transition and the challenges of the global pandemic.

His enthusiasm, and creativity have been instrumental in modernising our teaching methods and shaping the NCHP we are so proud of today.

Like all our tutors, Stuart also runs his own private psychotherapy and supervision practice and has a particular interest in psychosomatic presentations and existential issues.

As an educator, he holds Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and is committed to bringing creativity into the learning process.

A gifted storyteller, Stuart draws on Ericksonian and Jungian approaches to story and myth in both his teaching and therapeutic work.

Stuart is also an EMCC Accredited Senior Practitioner in Coaching, with a special interest in supporting senior leaders and entrepreneurs.

Carlie Fairbrother (she/her)

Carlie is a Director of NCHP and oversees student experience, being passionate about the student journey after having transitioned from being a student and graduate herself.

Carlie is passionate about keeping our training and curriculum fresh and applicable to socio-cultural and socio-political issues and challenges.

Alongside the NCHP Carlie runs her private practice and is a UKCP-Registered Hypno-Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist.

Carlie's therapy work is focused on body image, relationships with food and early relational trauma with a particular interest in somatic, embodied and experiential work, as well working outdoors.

Carlie's compassionate style of teaching is focused on bringing out our students' individual strengths helping them to tap into their own creativity to find their own authentic voice within their work.

Carlie is also Chair of the National Society of Talking Therapies.

Luigi Sciambarella (he/him)

Luigi Sciambarella is a UKCP Registered Hypno-Psychotherapist and an NCHP and psychology graduate.

Since 2010, Luigi has been teaching and speaking globally on meditation, lucid dreaming and personal development to thousands of people who are interested in exploring the many different facets of mind (conscious, unconscious and everything in-between).

Luigi curates the NCHP Research Catalogue which lies at the root of our evidence-based approach and methods to both teaching and practice.

This work is perfectly suited to his thirst for knowledge, enquiring mind and meticulous ability to distil, manage and disseminate complex research theory for our students.

Jenny Kingston (she/her)

Jenny is a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist, performance coach and a graduate of the college.

She began her career in financial services, before following her passion for understanding human behaviour with an MSc in psychology.

She has a special interest in personal growth, supporting individuals who are seeking greater purpose, improved wellbeing and enhanced performance in both their personal and professional lives.

In addition to running her private practice, Jenny delivers training on a wide range of topics including leadership, mindset and mental health awareness, both in the UK and internationally.

Dom Chalder (she/they)

Dominika is in the final stages of completing UKCP-accredited training with NCHP and has been shadowing NCHP tutors since 2023 as part of her transition into a teaching role.

She is a solution-focused hypno-psychotherapist whose pluralistic approach integrates neuroscience, mindfulness, contemporary schools of talk therapy, and creative inquiry to support deep and lasting change.

Based in Kent, Dominika has been running a private practice for the past five years with a special interest in neurodiversity, particularly ADHD, and complex trauma (c-PTSD). Her academic curiosity continues to shape her research into how hypno-psychotherapy can enhance executive functioning in neurodivergent adults.

Before retraining as a therapist, Dominika completed a PhD in Environmental and Climate Sciences and spent two decades navigating academic and corporate roles.

Outside her professional life, she is a keen surfer and artist who finds inspiration in the rhythms of nature, trusting, adapting, and moving with what is; an ethos she brings to both her teaching and clinical practice.

Jenny Hunter-Phillips (she/her)

Jenny is a psychotherapeutic counsellor, working towards UKCP accreditation with the college.

Jenny teaches on Stage 2 of the training and specialises in student support.

Initially trained in linguistics and further education, Jenny started her career teaching in sixth form colleges, before becoming a Safeguarding and Senior Mental Health Lead.

Her passion for supporting others, within these roles, led her to psychotherapy, to gain a greater awareness and understanding of individual experiences.

Within her practice, Jenny enjoys the variety of her work and has a particular interest in supporting those who are seeking confidence, resilience, and a greater sense of self.

David Corr (he/him)

David is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and supervisor who has trained extensively in Ericksonian psychotherapy and is an accomplished experiential tutor.

He is also a trained EMDR therapist and specialises in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and dissociative states.

David runs a private practice, is a clinical supervisor and has conducted many high profile projects for government and NGOs including breaking down barriers to inclusion, and tackling racism in the workplace.

Anne Millne-Riley (she/her)

Anne Millne-Riley is an experienced UKCP-accredited psychotherapist and trainer.

She specialises in supervision, having authored the NCHP supervisor training programme and retains a keen interest in all aspects of the supervisory process.

Having been an integrative psychotherapist for over 15 years, Anne is also registered with the BACP.

Fiona Biddle (she/her)

Fiona has been a therapist since 1993, and now focuses on supervision. She was co-owner of the National College from 2007-2020 and enjoys her continued connection with NCHP.

She has held various roles in UKCP, including being a trustee, Chair of the Education, Training and Practice Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.

She is currently one of two UKCP members involved (from the start) with the SCoPEd project. She is also an ex-chair of the NCH and UKCHO and co-created the HPD in 2002.
